All projects were executed with a strong grounding in the rules of how information can be displayed through typography and basic design with allowance for more experimental graphic design. These projects covered a wide range of areas including; interactive information design, photography, editorial, packaging and conceptual theory based work. | EMPLOYMENT HISTORY | Jun 2001 - Present | Exchange Systems Technology Ltd Employed as the only senior web designer for a software company in the financial services industry, making final decisions on every aspect of the design cycle, including agreeing budgets, signing off final designs and agreeing contracts with external suppliers. Initially brought in to completely redesign/rework the companies existing corporate identity and re-brand the full portfolio of products. This entailed redesigning marketing and corporate literature, website, letterheads, business cards, etc from design to full print production. Created a template wireframe system for the main product offering that could be re-branded for multiple clients using HTML, CSS, Javascript. Also aided in coding a help system using JSP, AJAX. Recently completed design and production of a complete exhibition/marketing campaign for the company. www.exchangesys.com |
| EMPLOYMENT HISTORY | Jul 1999 - Mar 2001 | Entranet Ltd My employment at Entranet as a middleweight web designer has been primarily with clients in the financial sector including HFC Bank and their online credit card -Marbles; Foreign and Colonial; Britannic Assurance; AXA - insurance and Abbey National. These projects all involved extensive client liaison from the outset, working from the concept stage through to implementation and delivery. I have also overseen many other projects within the Creative department including the company's own internet and intranet website and inhouse events micro sites. Mar 1999 - Jun 1999 | Work Placement at British Airways - Working with the CBT Development Team. Placement involved the design and production of a CD-Rom including assessing the particular needs of project assignments and research into the aims and objectives of the CD -Rom. Designed a series of posters aimed at promoting the work of the research and development departments. |
